Planning Less, Experiencing More

Letting Go of the Itinerary

I used to be the kind of traveler who built color-coded spreadsheets before a trip. Every meal booked, every hour assigned. But somewhere along the way, I started to crave a different kind of travel—one with room to breathe.

So I stopped over-planning. And everything changed.

Serendipity Takes the Lead

Without a rigid itinerary, I found myself saying yes more often. Yes to spontaneous invitations, to wandering side streets, to lingering longer over coffee. I discovered things I never could have penciled in—moments that felt like they were meant for me, but only because I was open to them.

There’s a kind of magic that only shows up when you make room for it.

From Control to Curiosity

Less planning didn’t mean less intention—it meant more presence. I still had a sense of what I wanted from each place, but I gave myself permission to let it unfold naturally. To move at my own pace. To follow my instincts instead of a schedule.

And in doing so, I found more than I expected. Not just sights, but insight.
